November Ipsy Bag 2017

Another month, another Ipsy bag. I really love all the products in this month’s bag. If you read last month’s bag review then you know I felt like I was getting similar products again and again. I rated that bag a little lower and I think it worked. I got a great mix of products this time. Here’s the lineup:

ORIBE HAIR CARE Gold Lust Dry Shampoo

I’ve heard great things about Oribe Hair Care, so I was so excited to try this dry shampoo out. I was able to test it out on second day straight hair and it worked great. This dry shampoo had a great texture made my hair feel great too. I’m not sold on the “gold lust,” but so far I am liking this dry shampoo.

SLMISSGLAM B36 Tapered Highlight Brush

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I love getting brushes! I am slowing but surely building my quality makeup brush collection. This is a tapered brush so it’s perfect for highlighting. It’s so soft and I love the blue handle on it too. This is an Ipsy exclusive brush.

FullSizeRender 10COLOURPOP COSMETICS Pressed Powder Shadow in Come and Get It

I’ve actually never used ColourPop before. I’ve heard so many great things about this affordable brand but have never owned any of it before. I’m so impressed with this eyeshadow. First off, the color is amazing. I love warmer eyeshadow colors and this is a golden pink. It has duo-chrome shimmers in it that when swatched are beautiful. See the picture above! I can’t get over how pretty this color is. The staying power of this shadow is impressive too.

TARTE Deluxe Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Quirky

Y’all know I’m a big Tarte fan. These 12-hour blushes are some fan favorites, too. I love the color I got; it’s perfectly peachy. I know I already love this product. This is a great sized product; it’s not full size but it is an amazing sample size.

TOUCH IN SOL Advanced Real Moisture Liquid Foundation SPF 30 PA in #21 Nude Beige

I’m on the fence about this foundation. I’m a little to pale, even for the nude color. What I have been doing is mixing it into my normal foundation for a little color and I like it so far. If anything I could travel with this in case of emergencies. It’s a small sample though.

Also, last but not least is the bag. It came in two colors this month. I got the blue but they also had a yellow. This bag is so cute! Okay I guess I say that about most of the bags, but I really love them all. Surprisingly I have found uses for a good bit of them too. From holding technology odds and ends, holding nail polish, items in my purses, pencils, etc. they have really been useful!

That’s all for this post. I hope you enjoyed it. Final exams are almost here and things are going to get crazy. I do plan on doing vlogmas this year so those will be posted weekly here. Bring on the holidays!
