February Favorites – 2017

Can y’all believe it’s March?

Today in South Carolina it was 85 degrees. We barely had a winter here.

With the beginning of March, it means it’s time to share my favorites for the month of February, so here they are!

Some of these favorites may look familiar. Three of these are from my February Ipsy Bag.

LAW Beauty Essentials Nail Polish in Smoking Mauve
I LOVE this color. It’s a perfect transition color for the spring months. I’ve had it on my nails ever since I got my Ipsy Bag. I plan to wear this color for a while!

NYX Professional Makeup Butter™ Lipstick in Ripe Berry and Root Beer Float
After I used Ripe Berry multiple times I wanted to try out more colors. I got another shade in Root Beer Float and I love it just as much. These lipsticks are butter lipsticks so they are smooth and moisturizing. It doesn’t even feel like I am wearing lipstick when I wear them. These are my new go-to lipsticks.

Ipsy Bags
I know, I’ve only gotten one bag so far, but I really enjoyed it! It was so fun testing out the products and finding new ones I love! I am so excited for my next bag.

Revlon Dramatic Definition Mascara I am a big fan of Revlon mascaras. I had a favorite Revlon mascara for years but it’s been discontinued. I decided to try another one and I picked the Dramatic Definition. I really like it! It does a great job at defining the lashes and giving me length. If you’re in the market for a new mascara, I would recommend checking this one out!

Dead Sea Treatment Eye Cream
This eye cream was one of the impulse buys in the beauty isle of TJ Maxx. I know, at 20 years young I really don’t need to be worrying about under-eye problems. However, is it ever too early to start moisturizing? I use this most nights before bed and do notice a difference in under-eye hydration. I don’t know too much about the brand, but it’s one of my favorites, especially in the (somewhat) dry season. The beauty isle of TJ Maxx always gets me though :).

Essence Matt Bronzing Powder
The reason this is a favorite is because it smells like sunshine, rainbows and summer. I’m not kidding. You open this product and you are transported to a summer day. So if you want something that smells amazing when you use it, buy this bronzer! Besides the smell, it provides a light warmth and color to my face. You can use this to bronze up areas or all over your face. It has been a favorite to add some color to my face.

My blog

I’ve officially blogged for one month straight! This has definitely been a favorite of mine throughout the month. I’ve really enjoyed writing and have gotten some great feedback! It makes my day when I run into someone and they say they love reading my blog. If that was you and you are reading this now, just know I really appreciate it!

Sunflowers
I’ve only had these sunflowers since Saturday but they really brighten up my day. Having fresh flowers in my room just make it feel so “homey”. They are also fun to take pictures of.

Harvest Snaps – Snap Pea Crisps
These are SO good! I am a big chip person, but in my quest to be healthier, I’ve began to try healthier snacking alternatives. These crisps claim to be healthier in all aspects than chips are. They aren’t as good for you as eating vegetables but they satisfy my chip-crunch craving. They have a lot of flavors in these crisps too.

Scent Owl
In my residence hall, I’m not allowed to have or burn candles. One of my residents actually got me this owl for my birthday! You plug it into a outlet, turn on the light and it melts wax at the top. Any scented melting wax works with it. My favorites are any that smell fresh and clean. Even though the owl is small, the scent from the wax actually makes my room smell so good! It’s also super cute.

That’s all for my February favorites!

Share any of your favorite products you’ve been using below. I would love to try them out.

Be on the lookout for posts next week. My sister and I have a FUN spring break trip coming up and I can’t wait to share it with you!
