How is August almost over? The craziness begins again tomorrow as I start my junior year of college. Where is the time going?
I got my August Ipsy bag in the mail last week andl, like with every bag, I’m obviously excited about it. I really love getting new products straight to my doorstep, and to be honest my purchasing of makeup has decreased since I started getting these bags too.
This is the bag I got this month:
First off, I love the bag. This may be my favorite bag so far. Ipsy said it created it with a sparkly summer sunset in mind.

AURORA Pro Cover Up Concealer in Balmy Beige
I am always searching for a good concealer. This one has a thick consistency and is a good match for my skin tone. Aurora partnered with Ipsy for this concealer.
theBalm Cosmetics theBalm Voyage Vol. 2 Eyeshadow in Willkommen or Kuwakaribisha
This eyeshadow/luminizer is a super light color. I think I will use this more as a highlighter than eyeshadow. One thing I do like about the eyeshadow is how soft it is. The texture is so smooth and it makes application easy. I will have to play with this shadow/luminizer more. I am a big fan of theBalm cosmetics.
Hikari Cosmetics Shimmer Bronzer in Flush
This bronzer is more of a blush to me. It has a very peachy bronze tone that looks super pretty on the cheek bones. I like to swirl the three colors together for the peach color. The colors alone have good pigments too but they are all very shimmery. It does live up to the name as a “Shimmer Bronzer” though. It is a great sized product too.

JUARA Skincare Rice Facial Cleanser
I haven’t gotten to test this product yet, but I know rice facial cleansers are known for being very good for the skin. It has simple ingredients that give you a good clean feeling. I am excited to test this product out.
MAKE UP FOR EVER EXCESSIVE LASH Arresting Volume Mascara
I loooooveee a good mascara sample. For one, the samples are so cute and they are perfect for on-the-go. I’ve not tried much of the Make Up Forever Brand but I was pleased to get a sample of this in my bag. This mascara had a long wand with short bristles. I liked it so far when I used it but it has only been one time. More to come on this review.
Overall this bag was a good one! I’m not unhappy with any of the products and I am excited to use them more.
